Lame Duck President on Rampage... Feb 9, 2005 - Effective immediately Chief Job Steward B. Young, Job Steward P. Parsons and Job Steward C. Tellez were notified today that they had been fired as job stewards for CCPOA Ironwood. Young, Parsons and Tellez are all still active Board Members of the Ironwood Chapter. Recently Job Steward B. Bias was also infomed that he was no longer recognized as a job steward by the union. This is the latest wave of firings by the Chapter President, who also terminated Chapter VP J. Baumiller and T. Hammond as job stewards at a special meeting on institution grounds in August. When asked why he terminated them the Chapter President responded simply, "Because I can..."
